Spotlight on ‘The Studio’ Pilates Practitioner

Sarah Reddyoff (Pilates Practitioner)

Sarah works as Pilates Teacher at our Studio in Menston as well as running her own successful Pilates classes,  ‘Redds Pilates and Fitness’ based in Ilkley.  Although Sarah didn’t initially train with us here at Modern Pilates it is great that she has a passion for teaching Pilates.  She teaches exercise in pregnancy and that led her us to setting up a Mummy Pilates class a The Studio. These classes allow the new mum to exercise whilst baby is with them.

Sarah says “For me exercise is my passion. I found Pilates after an injury and quickly fell in love with it. I noticed the benefits to both my physical health and overall well-being almost instantly. A keen hockey player and skier, I love how Pilates equips me with the core strength and flexibility to enhance my many sporting interests as well as provide a low impact way of exercising the whole body.

In my classes I aim to provide a great workout that leaves my clients feeling toned, whilst feeling well stretched and relaxed.” Sarah undertook our Bands and Balls workshop earlier in the year and plans to do more with us in the future.

If you would like to advance your Pilates knowledge to incorporate rehabilitation and recovery Pilates, we run a ‘Diagnostic Series’ made up of 3 modules.  Our series of rehabilitation and recovery Pilates will enable you to advance your skills and earning potential in a clinical Pilates setting.  They are taught by our physiotherapists who  work in their own practices as well as teaching Pilates classes and small groups. This exciting series of workshops are  delivered through theory and practical workshops where you will have the opportunity to gain hands on experience and investigate a wide range of conditions.  To see when our next courses are follow the link to our ‘Courses’ page.
