Let us introduce you to Tisian. “I am a midwife who completed the Aquafusion course in 2018 and started Hydrobumps in January 2019. I secured a partnership with Liverpool City Council and run classes run in the Aquatics Centre in Wavertree. I have also just recently won the NatWest Enterprise Award for the North West for Hydrobumps and will be expanding services across Merseyside in the near future!

I encourage relaxation and breathing at the end of my sessions with a community-focused Q&A so that the women get a chance to have some informal conversation with me as a midwife and meet other mums to be.
Within the course, the balance of practical and theory learning was really good. Studying the theory and then practising those skills in the water helps to really understand the movements.
The advanced course is a great way to refine your techniques and chat with other aqua-natal teachers to share learning. Christine (our tutor) was really approachable and always made sure people’s questions were answered. The teachings are adapted where needed and fun!”
