I trained for CYQ Level 3 Matwork Pilates with Cherry, Jay & Jo in Glossop a couple of years ago. Hard work, but oh so enjoyable, informative & fun. I also did the Ante & Post Natal course last year. Again very enjoyable. Mind you, both hard work. As funds & time allow, I plan to do more courses with PFE training. I now run 8 classes per week, mainly over 50s. I take classes into village halls in our very rural county of Shropshire. My smallest class is 9, biggest 15. Best training I every did!

Will I need to buy any expensive textbooks?
No, all training material has been written specifically for each course/module and will be given to you on the first day of your course. There are no other books to buy.
Is all my Matwork training undertaken on my course?
No, when you apply you will receive our comprehensive Home Study Pack on anatomy and physiology. You study this at home and complete the workbook prior to attending the course.
Do midwives teaching Aqua natal need insurance?
Yes, we would recommend that you have the correct insurance in place. If you contact FEDANT they will be able to advise you further. http://www.fedant.org/for-professionals/insurance/insurance/
Having had back/neck problems intermittently for most of my practising life as a dentist, I attended Pilates classes for 10 years. The results and inspiration I gained encouraged me to retrain as a Pilates teacher.
I searched for courses online I came across the Professional Fitness Modern Pilates course. I enrolled and very detailed course manuals were sent to me and I was allocated a course mentor, who promptly answered any queries I had by phone or email. On the course we were taught by physiotherapists and specialist Pilates teachers along with numerous inspirational teachers who demonstrated the practical and teaching aspects that we needed to understand. This brought a varied interesting programme and the hands on nature of the teaching allowing us to iron out any practical problems.
The course was thoroughly enjoyable attracting candidates from all around the country. It more than fulfilled my needs to enable me to enter the Pilates teaching world confident and very well prepared, with the added bonus of knowing that if I needed any support, I need only contact Professional Fitness and prompt support was forthcoming. I cannot recommend the Modern Pilates training programme highly enough for their Level 3 Matwork Pilates teaching course - a great start to your career.

Highly recommend Christine, Rebecca, Jay and all her team if you're looking to become a 'proper' Pilates instructor - and not just do an online course or watch a DVD....
The course is very thorough, professional, packed with lots of interesting facts, physio related, motivating and encouraging. Great for people who would like to go further in their career as a personal trainer but also for those just starting in the fitness industry.
Christine and her team deliver the right mix of high quality teaching - making sure every participant will get the thorough knowledge in Anatomy/Physiology to apply this in practical hands-on workshops. Great support on and off the course - always there to help and encourage.
No need to go anywhere else - there's no better course to go for. It ticks all the boxes you will ask for.

This course was recommended specifically by my own Pilates teacher, as one of the best on the market and I can truly say that it has given me the tools to teach, and knowledge to provide an excellent foundation in delivering my own classes. It is not any easy course, but then nothing worthwhile is easy, what is excellent is the support you receive throughout the course and the study materials provided, which are very comprehensive. The delivery by the tutors, both in a classroom setting and the studio were invaluable and initially pushed me outside my comfort zone, but by the final weekend I had been given everything I needed to pass the final exams. I've discovered that Pilates people are lovely, ready to help each other both during the course and after. I enjoyed it so much I'm coming back for some of the specific condition courses. Can't wait!

If you are wanting a Pilates instructor course run and taught by dedicated tutors, who have real life and relevant experience in a field they work professionally in, are recognised within and are passionate about, the Modern Pilates course is the course for you.
You won't just get taught verbatim, a load of facts, you'll get hands on experience of what it's like to apply your knowledge and understanding in a life-like 'Pilates session' setting.
The lovely characters you will meet on the course will feed your passion for this discipline. Their diligence will make you prepared and confident from day one of running your own session. Your confidence will flow to your clients who in turn will strive to achieve their own goals to live a pain free and active life. This is hugely rewarding, in which ever capacity you hope to utilise the course.
The course will provide you with all you need to set up, from anatomy knowledge all the way through to music clearance. And if there's the odd follow up query, your tutors will always be just a phone call away, to support you months and years down the line.
I met some wonderful people on the course and we've helped each other through. And we're still there now, over a year down the line encouraging and supporting each other. I'm glad I paid the extra, because I know I wouldn't have got this care and support behind me if I hadn't. Go for it, you'll never look back! A year later and I'm looking forward to booking on my next bolt on course.
