Course Content:

Course Content includes:

  • The Wonders of Dog Pose and 15 different ways to teach it.
  • Review of your alignment to ensure you are setting a good example.
  • Exploring back bends.
  • Planning and teaching Yoga for healthy backs.
  • Introduction to Pranayama and breath work.
  • Help with understanding the depth and modifications of each pose.
  • Intermediate poses with anatomical review, teaching tips and how to modify to teach to mixed abilities.
  • Understanding the correct order of poses and the safe structure of a yoga class (to ensure you are not aggravating the nervous system).

Course assessment format:

The module includes a practical observation throughout the course and there is no formal assessment. Please note that all programmes request 100% attendance before certification can be granted
