Teachers on our register have a wide variety of qualifications at differing levels, so please look below to decide which type of teacher best suits your needs.

Matwork CYQ Level 3 (Matwork Pilates Instructor)
These teachers have undertaken a training course to teach small groups in matwork only.

MP Matwork
These teachers qualified in Pilates with the original course, the precursor to the level 3 qualification. This course was run in line with the NVQ level 3 syllabus.

Advanced Matwork
Teachers who have attended this course have developed their repertoire of exercises and have advanced their teaching skills.

Personal Trainer Stage 2 (Pilates Personal Trainer)
These teachers have undertaken matwork to teach small groups and also further training to enable them to undertake personal training client.

Advanced Personal Trainer Stage 3 (Advanced Personal Trainer)
These teachers have undertaken both the above course and our advanced practitioner course. This enables them to work in conjunction with physiotherapists in rehabilitation and to prescribe postural enhancement programmes.

Pre/postnatal (pilates & pregnancy)
These teachers have the knowledge to teach both pre and postnatal clients within their matwork classes.

Backcare (Pilates & Backcare)
These teachers have gained further knowledge relating to common backcare conditions and how to modify pilates exercise for their clients.

Stability Ball (Pilates ‘on the ball’)
Teachers who have attended this workshop are able to effectively use a Stability ball within their classes
