These REPS accredited Pilates courses are designed for those Matwork Pilates teachers who wish to specialise in pregnancy, older adults or clients with neurological conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis or Parkinson's Disease.  Working in these specialist fields will not only expand your skills and knowledge but also your earning capacity.

The Specialist Pilates Courses can be taken as individual modules and you can work towards your specialist award by completing all three.

Pilates & Ageing

People are living longer and becoming more active in retirement so why not optimise your career in this fast and expanding market and develop your business in this specialist area. The course covers the essential knowledge required to teach older adults. It covers the ageing process including the physiology and anatomical changes that take place as well as conditions that occur due to the ageing process

Neuro Pilates

Follows on from our Older Adult course and looks at common neurological conditions such as Parkinson's Disease and Stroke. It reviews the practical application of Pilates with a wide range of conditions and teaches you how to reach these special population clients. Whilst neurological conditions are not only seen in the elderly the practical sessions taught in the Older Adult course are important to the understanding and success of the Neurological day.
