Do I need a First Aid/CPR Certificate?

You do not need one whilst you are training. However once you are qualified we strongly recommend you get a qualification.

If you intend to be employed then you will find that your employer will probably train you themselves in a full First Aid at Work Course. If you intend to work freelance then we would strongly recommend you receive accredited training.

We do not run courses ourselves, however we work in partnership with Leeds Met and they offer a full programme of courses.  They range from 1 day Emergency in the Workplace to 3 day full First Aid at Work.  All the courses are HSE registered.  Our students will receive a 5% discount.  Call 0113 812 7437 or visit the Leeds Met website  www.leedsmet.ac.uk/sport/first_aid_courses.htm

Please note that to be placed on the Register of Exercise Professionals you will need evidence of First Aid/CPR.
