Approved and recognised by the Royal College of Midwives, this course is designed for the community and hospital midwife. This intensive, practical and theoretical course provides the knowledge and coaching skills to lead a community based aqua-natal exercise class safely and effectively. The training permits the midwife to carry out this simple yet effective exercise programme for healthy prenatal and post-partum women. This course is delivered via practical and theoretical sessions, over 2 consecutive days. Students are continually given feedback to help develop their practical teaching skills throughout the course. A comprehensive course manual and information for reflective practice will be provided. A Certificate of Attendance will be awarded upon successful completion.
