Add variety and challenge to your Pilates classes by incorporating a wide variety of equipment. This equipment will enable you to introduce new exercises into your classes or to give clients modifications. This exciting and stimulating course will enable you to introduce and incorporate exercises using the Stability Ball, the Pilates band, foam roller and small ball into your class. It will look at standing and seated exercises along with a wide variety of stability ball exercises that will enable you to add variety to your current class structure. Some of the exercises are unique to Modern Pilates and will inspire you to progress and advance your teaching of Matwork Pilates.

Prerequisites for this course:
Students must meet the prerequisites prior to applying.
- Hold CYQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification.
- Currently teaching Pilates classes on a regular basis.
Course Content:
This course is delivered through theory, practical sessions and workshops and will explore a wide range of standing, seated and one to one exercises with equipment that will develop variety and challenge including:
- Stability Ball - theory of the 'Ball' and incorporates standing and seated exercises using the stability ball. The ball will enhance balance, reactions and proprioception providing challenges in multi directional planes.
- Pilates Band - unique Modern Pilates exercises that will change the way you teach standing Pilates and pelvic stability
- Foam Roller - incorporates balance and coordination, addresses Fascial Release
- Small Ball - small and user friendly, standing and matwork exercises
- Class Variety and formats from beginner to intermediate level
- Inspirational teaching ideas
- The course will widen your horizons and introduce your clients to a wide range of new exercises to challenge and keep them motivated
Course assessment format:
- No formal assessment.
- Continual practical assessment throughout the course.
